MECHANICS SUB-COMMITTEE
 
 
Purpose:
 
To support and provide delivery of maintenance and hiring programs under the banner of the Rotary Club of Eaglehawk
 
Goals:
 
  • To deliver the day to day operation of the facility.
  • To facilitate up to date and effective communication with respect to the facility within the Club.
  • To ensure that the facility is available for hire in a presentable and attractive manner.
  • To ensure all OH & S issues are promptly addressed and rectified.
  • To ensure all maintenance requirements are addressed in a timely manner.
  • To promote the facility as a potential venue for hirers.
 
Guidelines:
 
  • The Mechanics Sub-Committee will meet regularly with the Club President acting in the role of Chairperson.
  • The Mechanics Sub-Committee reports to and can make recommendations to the Board of the Rotary Club of Eaglehawk (Committee of Management), as per the Management Agreement with the City of Greater Bendigo (facility owners).
  • In readiness for the start of each Rotary year the Sub-Committee will undertake a plan of maintenance/tasks for the forthcoming year and prepare a budget reflecting the costs of the planned items.
  • The Mechanics Sub-Committee is required to maintain an up to date key register, which is to be reviewed annually.
  • In accordance with the Management agreement with the City of Greater Bendigo all fees received for the hiring of the facility and all costs associated with the obligations under the Management Agreement will be accounted for in the separate Club Bank Account ‘Rotary Club of Eaglehawk Mechanics Account’ provided specifically for this purpose.
  • The Legislative requirements and obligations under Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor is the responsibility of the Board of the Rotary Club of Eaglehawk.
