 In support of Rotary's Basic Education and Literacy Avenue of Service we donated Prep Packs to six of the local Primary Schools. A small pencil case filled with coloured pencils, note pad, eraser, dice and playing cards - all items that were suggested by local educators as being important in the early stages of school life. Prep students receiving the packs were encouraged to take them home, and explore different ways of learning from home. A great photo was received from a very appreciative parent - feedback like this validates the values of simple ideas and the impact we can have on our local community. | ||
